Brian Wendel began his real estate career in 1995 as a commercial broker for The Leggat Company in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1998, Mr. Wendel returned to his hometown of New York to begin the property and asset management division of Huntington Development Group. Over the course of a few years, the firm was managing more than five million square feet of industrial and mixed-use assets, including historic mixed-use properties Canal Place and International Park.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Wendel, as asset manager, property owner and managing partner, has successfully negotiated over 100 commercial leases and been lead negotiator in numerous acquisitions and dispositions. Mr. Wendel is currently involved in Mesa del Sol, a 12,000 acre development in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and MarchGlobalPort, a 350 acre air cargo development site in Riverside, California.
Mr. Wendel earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Boston University in 1995. Mr. Wendel is on the Board of Directors of the Lisa Wendel Memorial Foundation and resides in Santa Monica, California.
